Vision Therapy Chronicles - Jeff

Jeff Miller is a brain injury patient; a young man of 23 with a wonderful smile and a personality that instantly cheers you up.  A little more than a year ago, Jeff was in a terrible car accident. This accident affected his mobility, his short-term memory, and his vision.

Jeff's therapy exercises included pursuits like the Marsden Ball, fixations, exercises from a saccadic workbook, and convergence exercises such as the Brock String. His homework often included pursuit activities, significant time spent with his good eye patched, and activities involving the red-green glasses, such as reading with a red-green overlay on top of the page with red-green glasses on.

Vision Therapy Chronicles - Esther

Esther Miller is an elderly woman who was in a car accident nearly three years ago. It was so serious that her husband ordered a new pair of glasses for her to wear at her funeral. Thankfully, we never had to deliver those glasses.

When I started seeing Esther eight months ago, it was very difficult to keep her from suppressing her left eye. With pursuits like the Marsden Ball, her eye could barely move and binocular activities using red/green glasses demonstrated frequent suppression.
